Hey Team!
I hope everyone had a great weekend. If you celebrate the Easter holiday, I hope you enjoyed the time spent with family and friends! The weather around here has been awesome this week. Things are greening up and we have been able to spend more time outside, which is great.
How are you doing on your goals this week? Summer is less than 8 weeks away now. The actions that you take NOW will determine how you are going to look when that pool opens up in a few weeks! Are you keeping yourself consistent and committed to the goals your set for yourself back in the winter months? Let’s keep each other accountable and push each other to reach those goals over the next 8-9 weeks!
I’m less than 50 days away from my Tough Mudder race on June 7th – I know that these final 6 weeks are going to go by fast. I’ve started to implement some additional running into my weekly activities. Thankfully, the warmer weather makes this a bit more enjoyable – I’m not a big fan of running…
I am also less than 60 days from the Beachbody Classic on June 19th. The training is going great; I am already seeing some improvements in strength and size in the two areas that I am focusing on for the event, Chest and Back. I plan to post another v-log to keep you guys updated with what new there this week.
These two events have really added some extra pep in my step lately. I am rarely even tempting to hit the snooze in the early AM. I almost feel like I am jumping out of bed to get my workouts started! I know at some point over the next 8 weeks I am not going to feel like that and those are the days that I have to dig a little deeper and remind myself WHY I am doing this.
30 Minutes of Exercise??
Since Focus T25 came out in the summer of 2013, then with the release of P90X3 in December later that same year and even with 21 Day Fix earlier this year, it is clear that something is has changed with fitness and the amount of time required each day to get results. Here is an article that shows you exactly how in many cases a shorter, more intense workout can be extremely effective.

Here’s a great recipe that is super simple to make and tastes great! I am a big fan of breakfast foods; muffins are always a nice treat.
