Hey Team!
This week I started my P90X2/Insanity: The Asylum hybrid! Man what a week! I have done a few a of the original Insanity routines in the past, but never a full 60 days. The Asylum program is based on a lot of the same cardio moves that are featured in Insanity, but with focus on sport performance. Needless to say, cardio is not my favorite type of workout, but so far, I do really like how they aren’t ALL just cardio. Agility and strength are also incorporated into the routines. Stay tuned for additional updates on this journey.
This week was also my daughter’s 8th birthday! She was pretty excited the entire week as we try and make it a week that who’s ever birthday it is that week, they get to make some of the little day-to-day decisions in our household. Simple stuff like, what’s for dinner, or what game should we play this evening, etc… I think she ended up having a good week! Happy Birthday Makayla!
And in case you were wondering….NO, I did NOT have any cake or ice cream!
Plan For Success – Meal Preparation
Do you find it hard to stay on track during the week due to improper meal planning? I have fallen victim to this from time to time. I recently posted an article that will give you some tips on how to get out in front of that problem and make sure that you are stuck with making poor nutrition choices throughout the week.
