Hey Team!
Well, we FINALLY got some rain in our area this week! It was getting pretty ragged around here, even the 10 year trees we have in our yard were showing signs of stress. Hopefully the remainder of the month of July is a little less like Death Valley and more like the typical mid-west weather we are used to.
Only one week left in my hybrid at this point and I am ready for the break… I am not sure if my shoulder can take much more than the week that is remaining. I am expecting that the rest I’ll have in July and some physical therapy will do the trick and I’ll be ready to hit 100% in September. Don’t worry, I won’t be leaving you guys hanging, I’ll still be here checking in, motivating and support all of you!
Many of you should be winding down with your programs as well and I know that some of you have already finished up. Did you meet your goals? Maybe…maybe not? If you didn’t meet your goals; think about why that might have been. Did you maybe have a few too many cheat meals? Did you skip a few too many workouts?
The last few weeks I have been thinking to myself; “Did you push yourself to your personal limits the entire time?” “Are your results going to be what you wanted/expected?” But the fact is, I can’t go back and change anything that happened over the last 90 days. I can only control what I do today or tomorrow. I would like to think that the answers to those questions are going to be “Yes” and I’m not going to have any regrets in the end.
How would you answer those same questions of yourself?
The good news is that you still have the opportunity to correct course and get to YOUR finish line. So are you satisfied with your current path or do you need to make some changes to get to where you want to be? Write down your goals and put them somewhere that you will see them EVERYDAY and they begin to become part of your daily thought process. If you do this, you will not be denied and you will succeed!

As I have already mentioned, I plan to basically take the entire month of August off from workouts and give the Ultimate Reset program my focus. I put together an article that details what the first week will look like, in case you are curious.
