Hey Team!
Week # 2 of the new Body Beast program is just about in the books and I’ve got to say that I really love this new program. I have always been a P90X/Tony Horton fan, but this is just different! Perhaps it is all ego or vanity talking…? I have been seeing some decent gains in strength and size in just the first 2 weeks.
The nutrition is one of the biggest changes for me. I have been trying to get in about 3000 calories/day and quite honestly that has been a workout on its own. 3000 calories of clean eating is rather tough, especially when you factor in the macro-nutrient (carb/protein/fat) ratios that I am trying to keep. But all-in-all it is going well and I haven’t been this sore in awhile…
My kiddos poke fun of me when I ask; “Do I look like a Beast yet?” I usually get a “Not yet…!” Well, I don’t expect to look like Sagi Kalev in 90 days, but it is interesting to think about the impression/influence we all have on those around us.
What kind of impression do you leave with people?
I don’t mean with just your kids (if applicable) or immediate family, but everyone that you come into contact with?
I would like to think that I have a favorable impression/influence on most people, but it is hard to know for certain?
Despite what you might think, you influence those around you in some way, perhaps not as much as others, but the influence is there!
Are you setting the example or just faking it?
You can let your passion for fitness affect others as well! Those around you WILL notice you and your efforts and begin to ask themselves one of two questions; “Why can’t I have what they have?” or “Is that all you talk about?” Encourage those that ask the first and ignore, but do not forget, those that ask the second.
Body Beast Schedule
Since I have started the Body Beast program I wanted to make available a schedule/calendar for those that would be interested or anyone who plans to start up Body Beast as well.

New $500 Daily Challenge Contest
Before this week, Team Beachbody would randomly select members who logged their workouts into WOWY and award them with either a $250, $500 or $1000 prize. This method of randomness has ended and a new format of the daily contest is now in effect. The $500 Daily Prize will now be awarded to entries with inspirational and motivational stories. Entries will be judged on the compelling nature of their answers to the short questions on the entry form, “before” and “after” photos, stats and/or measurements.
For those of you who have been logging your workouts into WOWY, don’t stop, this is great motivation to look back upon to see that you have been pushing play each and every day!
