Hey Team!
This week I past the 45 day mark in this P90X2/Asylum 2 Hybrid. There are only 6 weeks left on the schedule and I can honestly say that I have not once rolled out of bed during the past 7 weeks and just utterly felt like skipping or mailing it. I am having so much fun with this hybrid; the mix of routines really keeps things fresh and challenging. My wife has been hitting a round of just straight P90X2 and our schedules have lined up on a number of days recently so we get to workout with each other.
Having a workout partner adds a bit of a different dynamic to how you go about things during your routine. At least for me it has… I feel like I want to push myself a bit more, but at the same time ensure that I am demonstrating proper form and technique, since on several occasions the exercises and lifts are new to her. I hope she doesn’t mind me sharing, but my wife is killing P90X2 right now. I can see her improving each week and despite her preference for cardio-based routines, the addition to resistance workouts is helping her tremendously.
Each week I try to add a little something in my check-in that offers to you some motivational or uplifting message to help either keep you going or get started. There are a ton of motivational images and quotes that are available to choose from and I post those that I feel convey my stance on things to Facebook and Twitter to those that follow me.
Video is another powerful medium! I recently stumbled across the following video on YouTube that literally gave me goose bumps a couple of times during the short 6-minute duration. So this week my message to you, while isn’t mine, is via a video that I think a great way to start your week and get you fired up! You’ll notice that this video compiles sports, movies and speech to demonstrate that you are the only thing stopping you from reaching your own goals!

Focus T25 – Exclusive Interview with Shaun T.
A couple of weeks ago I posted an article that offers up a bit more info about the new fitness program from Shaun T. Focus T25 is set to be release in June, likely at the Team Beachbody Coaches Summit June 19th-23rd. Check out this interview that give you some an inside look at what the program will be like.
