Hey Team!
This weekend I entered the BULK Phase of Body Beast and I can already tell the difference in how the muscles are worked in this phase. Chest and legs are SORE! It is really quite surprising the amount of soreness that I can experience by the subtle differences in the workouts. The workouts are shorter…thankfully!
Our Focus T25 Challenge Group gets started today as well! I have pretty much sampled all of the workouts that are in the Alpha phase of the program and they are all great! Even at only 25 minutes, I definitely feel like these workouts are super effective, keeping your heart rate up. The constant shifts in the exercises keep that little timer moving as well.

The Dog Days of Summer
Is everyone enjoying their summer so far? I have been enjoying the extra time off from work this summer to spend with the family! It is just one day a week, but it has allowed us to just do some things, while not exciting, have been put on the back burner…
Even though I am not working on Fridays this summer, I am still going through my normal routine and getting my workouts in before everyone gets up and going for the day. It could be very tempting to just take the day off from my workouts on these days as well, but I don’t do it.
Establishing a workout schedule and them sticking to it builds momentum. While it may not feel like that is the case, especially when you might have a workout that you don’t particularly care for, when you get it done, you are staying consistent.
Not to go all “teacher” on you, but if you recall Newton’s 1st law of motion; “An object in motion remains in motion unless acted upon by an outside force. An object at rest remains at rest unless acted upon by and outside force.”
The same can be said for out fitness routines/schedules. Once you get started, it is a heck of a lot easier to keep it going then to constantly start and stop, start and stop. However, the key point is you have got to get started, otherwise you might not start at all, aka – remain at rest.

Nutrition 101
As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, I am putting the final touches on the Nutrition 101 class/call. We are going to cover the basics of nutrition, some of which may simply be “old” information to you depending on how familiar you are with the topic. However, there may also be some info that you aren’t aware of too, so try to tune in! I also plan to allow time for a Q&A at the end, so if you have some questions that you have wanted to ask, feel free to join in and ask.
Right now the call is scheduled to take place on Wednesday July 18th at 9:00 PM EST. I plan to use a Google+ hangout to accommodate the call. The “video” portion of the hangout isn’t required, but is limited to the first 10 participants. This doesn’t mean that you will need turn on your webcam for everyone to see, you can still join the hangout and just listen in.
I will also be saving the recording, so if you simply can’t make the time scheduled, I will be making it available afterwards. If you aren’t able to attend, but would like a question answered, please send it to me via email, coachchris@yourfitnesspath.com, and I will be sure to work it into the Q&A at the end.
This should be an informative call and a lot of fun. However, it will also be my 1st Google+ hangout, so there might be a few glitches along the way, but that is part of the process I suppose…

Focus T25 – Delayed Shipping
Due to the overwhelming demand of this new program, the Base Kit of T25 has experienced a delay in shipping once your order is placed. It has been relayed to me that you should expect a 7-10 business day delay in the shipment of your order. This delay should only last for the next few weeks. The good news is that you won’t be charged for the order until it has shipped! Also, shipping is still FREE on the Base Kit, but only until 7/21.
