Hey Team!
Phase 3 of P90X2 has officially started for me and actually, by the time you are reading this, I’ll only have 2 weeks remaining! The final phase is somewhat repetitive with the routines, but they are some good ones; P.A.P. Upper and P.A.P Lower. What the heck is P.A.P.? It stands for Post-Activation Potentiation and specifically related to sport performance. Most of the exercises are subtle but involve some of the major muscle as well as the little ones you didn’t even know you had.
What is really cool about P.A.P Upper is that one of the cast members is my coach, Wayne Wyatt! How cool is that! I get to work out with Tony Horton and my coach for the next three, well now two, weeks.
I want all of you to make sure that you are bringing it over the next 2-3 weeks and finish strong! You all have definitely inspired me to maximize my efforts and I know that you have inspired others on the team as well. Each day that you are pushing play is another step closer to your health and fitness goal. That may be losing 5 lbs or that may be losing 50 lbs, it is YOUR goal and that is what is important. Keep moving towards your goal, but don’t stop once you reached it. Set new goals for yourself and work hard to reach those in turn.

You may have noticed that I recently updated the look and feel of my website. I moved some things around and added some new stuff too. If you get a moment, check it out and give me some feedback on the new layout and design.

Tips for Surviving Summer Parties
Obviously summer is a little ways out, but when the weather gets warmer like it has around here, social gatherings start happening. With that in mind, I recently posted an article that while was directed at summer parties, the principles and tips mentioned can be used anytime throughout the year.

“Warmer weather means smaller clothes. Swimsuits, shorts and tank tops can be your worst enemies if you haven’t been getting regular exercise for a while. So now is the time, with days being longer and temperatures milder, to start working out in earnest. However, summer also means parties, socializing with friends and family, and food.”
New Shakeology Option
Of course, you all know already know about the availability of Tropical Strawberry Shakeology. But you can now alternate between Tropical Strawberry and Greenberry OR Tropical Strawberry and Chocolate. If you are already on Home Direct (and you should be, if for nothing else to save on the shipping cost), simply contact customer service and let them know you want to change to the alternating delivery. If you are not currently using Shakeology, you can choose this option when you place your order!
New Challenge Packs!
Two new challenge packs are available NOW! Tai Cheng and LES MILLS PUMP can now be purchased as part of a challenge pack. Tai Cheng is Beachbody’s newest and perhaps most comprehensive fitness program based on Tai Chi. LES MILLS PUMP was released in late 2011 and had actually been around the health and fitness scene before Beachbody released a version of the popular program.
