Hey Team!
How’s everyone doing this week? Have you started your Christmas countdown yet? As some of you know, I’ve got younger kids and they really get into the whole countdown thing – it’s a lot of fun.
I got a bit of an early x-mas gift this past week, a TV for my workout area. Previously, I had just been using my laptop – which was fine and has served me well over the past 4 years. Though up until about 5 months ago I didn’t have a dedicated workout area, so it didn’t make a lot of sense to get a TV that would only be used about 1 hour/day. I plan to put a detailed blog post together describing the setup, but just having it in place the past few days has been pretty nice. Though my kiddos somehow think it is now another TV that they have available for their viewing pleasure…I don’t think so guys!
Hitting the Wall
I don’t recall exactly where I heard it, but many marathon runners who have been asked about their experiences during the 26.2-mile race, have all mentioned the concept of “hitting the wall”. For some it may show up at mile #10 for others, mile #20. The fact is that it nearly always hits at some point during the race.
Of course, I have never run a marathon or even a half-marathon for that matter, but there are times either in my workouts or throughout my week I feel like I have hit the wall. This is the time of the year that many people are feeling like they hit the wall as well with their health and fitness.
How do you respond when that time comes? Do you give in or do you step up? Do you give in to the pressures and tell yourself; “I’ll just get back into things after the holidays.” or do you stay committed and finish the year with even more intensity?
I haven’t been sticking to a fitness program schedule over the past 5-6 weeks, but I am still giving it everything I’ve got until I get started with P90X3. I get it; the holiday schedules are different for everyone and it is tough to stay consistent each and everyday, but if you make the effort now, you don’t have to start the new year from ground zero – you’ll have a foundation already in place.
P90X3 Hits The Streets Tomorrow!
Of course P90X3 will be a big topic this week, but there may be some things that you would like to know about the latest fitness program from Tony Horton today. I compiled a list of quick facts that does just that. I’ll have extensive details available tomorrow with the product’s official launch, but you can check out this list today for some initial details.
Force Factor BRX Pre-Workout Review
Here is a review of a new pre-workout supplement that I recently tried.
Here is the intro to the article:
“I have tried a few pre-workout supplements in the past and while I try not to get too caught up in “gotta have this in order to workout” line of thinking, I continue to use them off and on. I recently was sent, through a promotion I won on Instagram, a sample of the BRX Pre-workout supplement from the Force Factor brand. Here’s my review of this pre-workout supplement.”

Beachbody Coaching Opportunity
Let’s help others and pay it forward!
How many of you have/know someone that you think would benefit from being a part of this group? We all probably know SOMEONE that may be struggling with health and fitness.
Who do you know that has high cholesterol, blood pressure issues or blood sugar problems? Do you know someone that needs to lose weight, tone up or gain weight?
If you think you know someone, even if it is just one person, let me know and let’s get them plugged in. A little friendly competition is always beneficial to those involved.
Got a question?
I also wanted to make sure that everyone on my team is aware that I am here for YOU! If you have ANY questions related to health and fitness, don’t hesitate to contact me directly either on Facebook or via email (coachchris@yourfitnesspath.com). I am always willing to provide feedback and suggestions on ways that you can get the results that you are after.
And 2 favors that I ask:
1) If you like the hard work I put into writing my articles and videos, PLEASE help me out by sharing them. Click the share links below them and share them on FB, twitter, etc. It really helps me get more exposure and grow our team!
2) Also, as always, remember that the way I benefit from being your coach is that I earn a commission from any Beachbody products that you purchase, as long as you buy them through my site, www.yourfitnesspath.com, or by logging in to www.teambeachbody.com to do your shopping (If you buy from the plain beachbody site I get no credit). It helps with the amount of time I spend answering all your questions and helping you out.
Thank you! I really appreciate it!
