Hey Team!
This Week’s Check-In Highlights
How’s everyone doing this week? Those that were in the Midwest, did you survive the blizzard last week? Our kiddos were out of school ALL WEEK! Looking outside today you wouldn’t think that would have been the case as most of the snow is now melted…
Anyway, this week, the Challenge Group and I are starting the 3rd week of P90X3 and I have to admit, I’m a little sore here and there. That being said, I really, really like this program! Most of the workouts have 2-3 exercises that challenge me and I still struggle with. Much like Focus T-25, you can get a great workout in just 30 minutes if you push yourself and give it 100% effort. If you don’t, I could see where some could say that this program isn’t that great or they don’t feel like they are getting much out of it. The idea is that you turn up the intensity for a shorter amount of time and you’ll see the results!
The group has been crushing it and those that have been participating and staying plugged into the group have been benefiting from it.
Want to join us? Just ask – you can still get P90X3 at a great promotional discount! Reply to this email and we can connect.
Have a great week team!
Make a Pull-Up Bar
While on my 2-week vacation, I wanted to make a couple of tweaks to my pull-up bar. At first I had just planned to make it a bit higher to minimize the amount of bend in my legs. I ended up totally redoing the whole thing, and for the better – in my opinion anyway… Best of all, it is a complete DIY project that you can do too for around $40! Check out how I did it.
Here is the intro to the article:
“Back in 2009 when I first started P90X, I was using a doorway pull-up bar, not that much different than the P90X Chin-Up Bar. That worked well enough while I was working out in the various rooms in my house. Once I started working out in my garage about a year or so later, I wanted to put a ceiling mounted pull-up bar out there and ditch the door-way option.”

New Strawberry Shakeology Available Today!
Last week Beachbody announced a new flavor of Shakeology – Strawberry! You are probably thinking; “Wait a minute. That’s not a new flavor is it?”
The existing Tropical Strawberry Shakeology is a vegan formula, whereas the new Strawberry flavor is whey protein based, not vegan. This coincides with the two chocolate flavors (non-vegan & vegan), giving you two options for a strawberry flavor. While I haven’t tried this new flavor yet, I plan on getting some samples soon. If you would like to try the new Strawberry flavor, you can submit your request here: Shakeology Sample Request
The new Strawberry flavor is available today (it may be later afternoon before it is actually available…)! You can get it here –> Strawberry Shakeology
Don’t forget – with any NEW Shakeology Home Direct order, you’ll get a Shakeology Shaker Cup from me – FREE!
New Shakeology Combo Pack
With the release of the new Strawberry Shakeology flavor, a new combo pack is now available as well! Think Neapolitan ice cream. The new combo pack comes with 3 different flavors; Chocolate, Vanilla and the new Strawberry.
This is a 24-pack, so it is not quite a 30-day supply, but if you want some variety on a daily basis, this is a great option. In the box, you will get 8 individual packets of each flavor.
The new combo pack is available today and you can get it here –> Shakeology Combo Pack
Want some recipe ideas? I’ve got several 30-day calendars for each flavor of Shakeology. Get some inspiration on new ways to prepare your daily dose of dense nutrition here –> Shakeology Recipes
5 Tips/Suggestions to Improve Your Life – Today!
The second full week of 2014 is underway and the things I’ve listed below should be taken to heart as you try to improve yourself throughout the year. See how many of these tips you can start to incorporate into your own thinking this week.
1. Be Proud of Yourself
Being proud of your accomplishments is not egotistical, it is logical. When you accomplish something that you have always wanted to, pat yourself on the back just as you would any other, you deserve it.
2. Don’t Be So Serious
Rather than looking at your transformation as a tedious and unpleasant task, try to have some fun with it. Whether you pick up a new sport as exercise or find a new hobby to quell your idle hands try to make it enjoyable.
3. Develop Self Confidence
You must believe you can accomplish your goals first and foremost. Developing the self-confidence to know you can achieve anything is the first step in realizing your dreams.
4. Seek Opportunity Not Security
Rather than slipping into complacency, you must resist your comfort zone and instead focus on your goals. It’s easy to settle on perceived security, but it won’t make you happy. Only the pursuit of your dreams will satisfy you in the long run.
5. You Decide Who You Are or Want to Be
Only one person can determine what kind of human being you will become, and that is you. Every experience you encounter and every move you make is cultivating who you are, so choose wisely.
Lastly

Let’s help others and pay it forward!
How many of you have/know someone that you think would benefit from being a part of this group? We all probably know SOMEONE that may be struggling with health and fitness.
Who do you know that has high cholesterol, blood pressure issues or blood sugar problems? Do you know someone that needs to lose weight, tone up or gain weight?
If you think you know someone, even if it is just one person, let me know and let’s get them plugged in. A little friendly competition is always beneficial to those involved.
Got a question?
I also wanted to make sure that everyone on my team is aware that I am here for YOU! If you have ANY questions related to health and fitness, don’t hesitate to contact me directly either on Facebook or via email (coachchris@yourfitnesspath.com). I am always willing to provide feedback and suggestions on ways that you can get the results that you are after.
And 2 favors that I ask:
1) If you like the hard work I put into writing my articles and videos, PLEASE help me out by sharing them. Click the share links below them and share them on FB, twitter, etc. It really helps me get more exposure and grow our team!
2) Also, as always, remember that the way I benefit from being your coach is that I earn a commission from any Beachbody products that you purchase, as long as you buy them through my site, www.yourfitnesspath.com, or by logging in to www.teambeachbody.com to do your shopping (If you buy from the plain beachbody site I get no credit). It helps with the amount of time I spend answering all your questions and helping you out.
Thank you! I really appreciate it!
