The holiday season is here and if you are like me, you are probably still scrambling to find a gift for your wife, girlfriend or that fitness-minded women in your life. With that in mind, I have put together a list of gift ideas to help you out!
Check out the list below and leave a comment with the gift you plan to give this year, I’d love to hear about it and possibly steal your idea 😉
Yoga Mat
An essential piece of equipment if she is either just getting started with Yoga or is a seasoned veteran, a Yoga mat is the perfect gift! There are several color options, so you should be able to find one that fits her workout space motif
Fitness Tracker
Fitness trackers are a really popular piece of equipment right now and they are a great way to help kick start her new fitness resolution for 2016! There are numerous features and styles to choose, so make sure you get one that is appropriate to both her fitness goals and her style preferences.
Workout Wear
Proper workout attire is always recommended and while it’s not important how fancy your hair or makeup is while you are working out, having the right workout wear on can affect your workout. You don’t want her to be constantly adjusting her shirt or shorts during a workout, that’s a major buzz kill. Pick up a nice sports bra/tank top and yoga pant combo – don’t forget the socks!
Foam Roller
After a few days of working out, she is going to be sore and a foam roller is the ideal piece of equipment to address soreness and improve flexibility. 10-15 minutes while watching TV or winding down the day is an easy way to foam roll and work out some of the kinks and soreness.
At Home Fitness Program
Of course, an at home fitness program is a great way to complement everything listed above. For many ladies, going to a gym and working out in front of other people is literally frightening! Trying to figure out all of those machines can lead to frustration and giving up. With an at home fitness program, everything is laid out for her! The daily workouts, the nutrition it’s all provided. The equipment is basic, nothing complicated or big and bulky is necessary. Lastly, she can workout in the comfort of her living room or the space that you have dedicated!
